About the Speaker:
Kim Lisa Taylor is a California licensed attorney and partner in the Real Estate Securities law firm of Trowbridge & Taylor LLP as well as a real estate broker and real estate syndicator. As part of her law practice, Kim teaches real estate investors how to handle private loan transactions; what legal entities to use for real estate acquisitions; how to structure partnerships; and the rules regarding pooling investor funds and real estate syndication. Additionally, she forms legal entities and real estate syndications, and she prepares private placement offering documents, partnership and operating agreements, and private loan documents for her clients.
Kim routinely advises clients on compliance with federal and state securities laws as well as other legal and practical aspects of real estate investing including team building, due diligence, and attracting investors. Kim has written a series of articles on the legal aspects of group real estate investing and has been a speaker at a number of seminars, real estate investment clubs, and radio talk shows.
